AS ONE, which started its business with the customer-oriented concept of "delivering the necessary amount when necessary", places the highest priority on "pursuing customer satisfaction" as a management policy. As an indispensable hub in the fields of laboratory, medical care, and industry, we hope to connect people, goods, services, and information and serve our suppliers, dealers, and all customers.

Basic Policy on Sustainable Procurement

We have drafted our Corporate Code of Conduct based on our management philosophy of innovation and creation, and our management policy of pursuing customer satisfaction. Based on these, we outline basic matters related to our procurement activities.

Through these activities, we strive to resolve various problems in the fields of research, industry, and medical care by valuing the trust-based relationships with our business partners, working towards mutual improvements in value, and conducting sustainable business transactions and procurement activities.

We promote procurement activities that strive to ensure appropriate costs and delivery times, and that pursue high quality, safety, and security.

We promote fair procurement activities in adherence to relevant laws and regulations,and that are based on compliance.

3. Information security

We strictly manage confidential business information and personal information,and work with business partners to contribute to improvements in security.

4. Environment

We promote environmentally friendly procurement activities by working with business partners on initiatives related to reducing environmental load and achieving carbon neutrality.

5. Human rights, labor, and health and safety

We promote procurement activities that respect all human rights, that work to eliminate forced labor and child labor, and that ensure the health, work environments, and health and safety of workers.

As a wholesaler, we handle products from various manufacturers. We also offer original products designed and planned in-house as well as products imported directly from overseas.

With in-house products, we carefully evaluate whether or not we should carry a product. With imported products, we apply a strict quality assurance structure and take responsibility for manufactured goods. We have acquired the international standard ISO 9001 certification and designated a director to oversee our QMS.

This creates a company wide structure for QMS that extends beyond the Quality Assurance Department. All divisions, from the Sales Division to the Product Development Division, play a role in quality. However, the Quality Assurance Department in particular oversees quality management and inspections for in-house developed products and imported products, supplier assessments and supplier quality enlightenment activities, and issues various certifications to users. The Quality Assurance Department also serves as secretariat for the QMS and holds regular monthly quality meetings to report and deliberate on issues related to the QMS.
